The first Cannabis Café - Restaurant in the United States officially opened its doors for business today in Los Angeles, Ca.
West Hollywood community has provided the Lowell Farms the cannabis consumption license making it the first business in the United States fully legal to use cannabis.
Aiming to highlight cuisine and cannabis the Lowell Farms created a welcoming environment for the Cannabis connoisseurs and for all the Canna-curious who are looking to experience cannabis.
Chef Andrea Drummer has created for Lowell Café – Restaurant a menu that reflects the California flavors and features the seasonal dishes that are complementary to the effects of THC. Noteworthy that Chef Andrea was trained for many years at the famous restaurant of Los Angeles Le Cordon Bleu, but became well-known for the delicious flavors she prepared for celebrities, mainly for creating a THC and CBD-infused cuisine.
"Lowell Café will serve as a welcoming and safe environment for all to enjoy and learn about consumption in the newly legal world of cannabis and will offer a first-of-its-kind nightlife experience," a spokeswoman told CNN.
Guests are able to smoke marijuana at the cafe using joints pipes and bongs. The 5,900-square-foot space have both a smoking and non-smoking patio, and the entire indoor space is a designated smoking area.
"The Cannabis Café was created because we believed there needed to be a destination for everyone to openly enjoy cannabis in the community." Lowell Farms said in a statement.
