There’s a storm inside, quiet yet fierce,
A pull so magnetic, it’s hard to pierce.
Your presence ignites a silent flame,
Yet my lips hesitate to call your name.
The way you move, the way you smile,
It feels like time pauses for a while.
I catch your glance, then look away,
Hoping my heart won’t give me away.
Words form, but they melt on my tongue,
An unsung melody, forever young.
What if my truth shatters the air?
What if you don’t see me there?
I linger in shadows, safe but confined,
Hiding the chaos that lives in my mind.
I wish I could say, with courage unbound,
That you are the solace I’ve quietly found.
But for now, I’ll cherish the silent refrain,
The sweetness of longing, the beautiful pain.
And maybe one day, the courage will grow,
To tell you the feelings I struggle to show.
Happy Holidays!
