Dwayne Johnson facing the demons within a sneaky illness

Depression is not a cunning medical illness that strikes only the poor people. Depression hits all kind of human being regardless of ages, financial status or strength of character and drags them to a miserable life without hope. Depression slides into our lives right at the moment when we go through difficult situations just to keep us stuck in negative feelings.

Do you remember Dwayne Johnson, the big man full of powerful muscles? That's right I'm referring to the American actor, and ex-professional wrestler known as "The Rock."

The Hollywood’s top paid stars declared yesterday that he has suffered from the depressions for many years. “I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere. I was crying constantly.” the movie star Dwayne said.

Johnson was a teenager when he watched his mother’s attempted suicide shortly after they were evicted from their apartment. Although he was able to pull her from the highway they both sunk into several years of depression by facing their own demons.

“We both healed, but we’ve always got to do our best to pay attention when other people are in pain.” Johnson said to the British press last Monday.

The 45-year-old actor, in an effort to encourage men who suffer from this sneaky disease to open up and start seeking help, wrote on his twitter account, “Depression never discriminates. Took me a long time to realize it but the key is to not be afraid to open up. Especially us dudes have a tendency to keep it in. You’re not alone. Have faith that on the other side of the pain is something good.

Forbes has estimated Dwayne Johnson as the Hollywood’s second highest paid actor with $65 million in 2017 earnings.
