The New British Royal Prince is born and it's a Boy

The third child of Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, and Prince William was born this morning, April 23rd, and it is a boy.

The newborn baby weighs 8 lbs 7oz (3.8 kg) and six hours later he is gearing up to head back home to Kensington Palace, although the shortest postpartum hospital stays for new moms average a day and a half.

Kate Midleton's quick exit from St Mary’s Hospital in London, right where her two older children, George and Charlotte, were born, is due to a sheer frenzy outside the hospital.

Fans camping outside the Lindo Wing for weeks now, their activity and their noise are becoming overwhelming for other mother’s giving birth there.

The newborn sixth great-grandchild of Queen Elisabeth is now fifth in line to the throne, right behind his siblings George, 4, and Charlotte, 2, heirs’ successors of their father Prince William, and Grandfather Prince Charles.

According to the new law of 2013, the newborn prince will not supplant his older sister Charlotte in the order of succession.

Albert, Arthur, Jack and Fred are the favourite names of the Bookmakers for the newborn Royal Price, and are expected to be announced in due course.
